Don't Submit Your Articles If You Don't Check These 3 Things First21 January 2012

To all writers and non-writers out there, now is the time to start digging up those creative writing skills. With modern communication technology comes the popularity of information-based marketing, which is one of the oldest and most effective techniques in getting targeted prospects to sites and converting them into buyers. This is why article writing, submissions and publications are also getting popular.

Now with so many bells and whistles galore on the internet now it's no wonder why distributing articles is getting easier. This is all fine and dandy but when we see people making the same mistakes over and over again you begin to understand why there is less success. For example this common mishap when submitting content to the directories:

1. Thinking that writing the article is the same reason for promoting it.

The golden rule is to: write to inform the audience. Optimize our efforts by the use of branding, generating leads, and promotion. These are two different things that should not be mixed up. Once mixed up the trouble begins.

If the article is not focused on this primary and most important purpose, it will fail to achieve the three promotion benefits because no one will be interested in reading them. You need to figure out first how to get people to read what is in your article, then make them click on your resource box. You can achieve this by producing better contents.

2. Dropping the ball when it comes to article marketing and all of it's opportunities.

Getting more back links to your Website with articles is not the only benefit. From the same articles you can also receive better search engine results and more visitors. Plug in your keywords at strategic places in the articles and you'll have a winner. Just make sure you don't overdo it. Another effective method is using anchor texts. I only wish that the majority of the directories where able to support this currently their not all up to speed.

It's really a good feeling knowing that you're getting all those links back to your site. The key here is to write good content so that you have a chance of getting picked up by large audiences. longboard wheels . When you place other products or brand names in your articles you will have a good opportunity for leverage as long as your articles are of good quality. Plus you get the benefits of better search engine results.

But to put much more money in your pocket your going to need a plan. Make sure you see your plan through. Make sure your articles do what you intended them to do. You'll want to turn your efforts into an increased opportunity to boost your earnings. As you'll see it doesn't do any good just to increase the number of visitors to your site.

3. Publishing content that does not help your readers.

Maybe in the process of writing articles, you are thinking that the only thing you wanted are links back to your site. Any visitors it can generate is fine with you. Guess what? Not all article banks and directories are going to accept your content automatically.

Many of these article directories will have very special guidelines required before they will accept an article. I know what your thinking. That's just a few so it's all right. Well many times you can double or even triple your number of submissions by coming up with great content that these directories will be happy to include with their system. Let's say one publisher has a readership of a hundred thousand or more. Do you think that would increase your potential audience?

You may have heard this before. Give a little, get a little. Give a lot, get a lot. When writing article it's the same thing. The more you can give in the way of tip's, or information, the more you will see in actual placements and audience acceptance. Also get more by sticking to the publisher guidelines, spell checking your articles, and researching the tops for best the information. You may even want to hire writer for a great article.

As with most things, in the beginning, a decision has to be made. Do I take the left path or the path to the right? Do I start getting a little exposure with back links on a small level? Or do I go for massive exposure and spend more time making great quality articles?

Once again, there are two types of articles. One is a highly targeted niche article and the other is just an article submitted to a directory. Which kind of article will you write?

Wouldn't you like free content for your web page, then make it a point to head over to Articles and pick up your fair share of free unique articles.
