Yahoo CEO sent email to employees said the real change is approaching21 March 2012
Yahoo CEO Scott Thompson sent a letter to Yahoo employees on Wednesday that Yahoo is about more changes, designed to appease the anxiety of staff.
Yahoo recently under pressure, including a number of executives is leaving the board of directors that forced to restructure. To make matters worse, in the coming weeks, Yahoo will be a major restructuring or layoffs of thousands of people. In addition, Yahoo also claims that its partner Facebook infringement of its patent.
Scott did not disclose more detailed information in the mail, but said Yahoo will be more change occurs. Thompson said in the message, since the beginning of the year as CEO, he has the company conducted thorough assessment, with a particular focus on the characteristics and shortcomings of Yahoo. Scott's plan is to let Yahoo become more aggressive and positive, because the real change in the upcoming.
Thompson said in the message: "We have an urgent need for rapid action to revert to a previous state of mind, we will fundamentally re-evaluate each part of the business, and consider all options to do their utmost to ensure success. I have been to the management team exerted great pressure to ensure that the action is faster, more calmly. "
Thompson also stressed: "We are about to make that change is not incremental, but the work and ways of working, bold, fundamental change." Based on the program, Thompson also pointed out that Yahoo will focus on the following three affairs:
1) strongly focused on the business market competitiveness.
2) the liberation of all staff, easy to work more efficiently, make the best decisions.
3) an innovative way of thinking about how to use the trust relationship between Yahoo and users to develop new business.
In addition, Thompson lists five key business of Yahoo: core business, platform, data, international, and the future of Yahoo.
Thompson said that Yahoo is not only to protect the core assets, but also mergers and acquisitions, and to expand other businesses outside the core business. Thompson also said that, it is essential for Yahoo that know what to do, how to do. To this end, Thompson gives Yahoo three core principles:
1) to listen, understand, the user first.
2) anything done should be quick action.
3) Make sure to complete the task.
Thompson also emphasized the importance of listening, he said: "Earlier in his career, I stressed that the only innovation is not implemented is worthless, Yahoo in the future must be the one to give a surprise to the world enterprise." We will do it better and better.

The customer will appreciate your willingness to help them, and will come straight back to your business the next time they need your goods or services.
4. Keep in mind that the goal is to make the customer happy. Therefore, if your customer has a reasonable request which falls slightly outside the lines of company policy, it is okay to bend the rules.
5. If you have employees or contractors, make sure that you set a good example for them by showing them the same amount of care as you do your customers. The attitude of those who work for you will be a direct reflection of their leadership. As the home business owner, you are the leader. Therefore, you need to set the example.
6. Ensure that your customers keep coming back. Create a great customer service plan, and make sure that everyone in your organization has a copy. Once your contractors or employees are fully aware of the importance of premier customer service, they will nurture lifelong customer relationships for your business.
