Affiliate Program Sales: Earn Real Money With These 4 Simple Steps and Never Spend a Nickel!17 August 2011
Promote, promote, promote! That's what it takes to earn real money in affiliate program sales. If you are new, it is hugely important to keep your costs to a minimum. Here are four ways to promote your affiliate product without ever spending a single penny in advertising.
1. Start by writing an article.
Articles are one of the oldest and most trusted ways of spreading the word about your affiliate product on the net. Oklahoma foundation repair contractor . Getting an article published is simple, even if you are not a particularly gifted writer. But--- don't be too brash with your affiliate promotion in your article.
Publish your article in the top five or six article directories. Then, rewrite your article and publish in the next ten to twenty most popular directories. The purpose of the rewrite is to prevent the search engines from clobbering you with a duplicate content penalty.
Follow this iron rule: Never, EVER talk about your product in your article. Talk about your niche instead. For example, if your niche is building doll houses, then give the reader good advice on solving common problems in that field.
Good quality article directories (and you should ONLY deal with the best) do not like blatant affiliate program sales promotions. Be subtle!
Once you have given, you now have permission to take. You may include your website (top level domains ONLY) in your resource box at the bottom of the article. If you have been able to sell yourself to the reader as an expert of some sort, you stand a good chance of getting the click.
This is a great strategy that can really help you earn real money.
But wait, there's more!--
2. Now, repackage your article as a tutorial. This means a change of wording and a change of format to give your article more of a "how-to" feel. Sites like eHow are great places to publish this sort of educational material. Tutorial sites get good traffic, and you're ahead of the game because most article writers would never think to do this. Plus--- it's still free.
3. Having made your article into a tutorial, now turn THAT into a Powerpoint presentation, being sure to include your URL. Submit it to Slideshare and similar sites, and find yourself with yet another traffic source that comes to you... totally free.
4. Last, turn your Powerpoint into a video. If you want to spend money, invest in Camtasia, but you can still get good results for nothing with CamStudio.
You can start afresh, or your can simply use your PowerPoint and add audio-- your own voice, if you think you can do this well, or find someone with a bit of dramatic flair to do this for you.
If you really, really want to spend money on video, try Article Video Robot. They are a monthly paid service who turn articles into videos with music and voiceover. I have never tried them myself, so I can't vouch for them. Why don't you give them a shot, and then... write an article about it?!
What are your overall results now? Well, you wrote one article, and published it in four different formats!
There's no shortage of free traffic sources--- these are just intended to be helpful hints. Article directories and social bookmarking sites--- already well known and popular--- are just the beginning.
If you are willing to put in the work of converting your article into some non-article format, there will almost certainly be some way of getting it into the public domain at no cost. Pdf.'s. .exe files and RSS feeds are all sources of traffic you can exploit. You can try these out on your own.
My overall advice: get your article out there in as many formats as you can, and you can earn real money in affiliate program sales.
